Promote Green Spaces: Increase the number of local parks, gardens, and other green areas. Events, picnics, and outdoor activities can all be held in these spaces. They also aid in lowering pollution and enhancing air quality.
Adopt strategies to improve neighbourhood safety, such as installing CCTV cameras, upgrading street lighting, and stepping up police presence.
Create Educational Facilities: Spend money on educational institutions like libraries and schools to expand access to education and encourage lifelong learning.
Building new hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies will help the neighborhood's healthcare facilities improve. Residents' access to healthcare services will improve as a result.
Better sanitation facilities and waste management can also reduce diseases to a great extent
OBSERVATIONS
On our visit to the Saraspur neighbourhood, We became aware of a number of problems with sanitation, waste management, and urban infrastructure. Here are a few things we noticed:
Inadequate garbage disposal facilities appeared to be present in the area, leading to poor waste management. The streets and open areas were littered with garbage, which gave off a bad smell and drew stray animals.
Sanitation facilities: Many of the public restrooms were in a poor state of repair, making it clear that there were inadequate sanitary facilities. The unsanitary conditions were made worse by the lack of routine maintenance and cleaning.
Absence of fundamental urban infrastructure, such as paved roads and streetlights: There was a shortage of basic urban infrastructure. Public safety was at risk because of this, especially at night.
Lack of a community hall: The area lacked a community hall that could be used as a location for community events, meetings, and gatherings. The community's social structure might be impacted by this.
Residential areas that are crowded: Saraspur's residential areas appeared to be crowded and crowded, with little room for recreational activities or public amenities.
There was a lack of public transportation, making it difficult to access buses, trains, and other forms of mobility. Residents found it difficult to commute to work or receive essential services as a result.
These issues may negatively affect people' health and happiness as well as the community's development and expansion.
